Spicy Cilantro Cream Sauce

It's no secret, I'm all about the dips and sauces. The right sauce can be the dividing line between a decent dish and a mouthwatering, go-back-for-seconds kind of meal. One of my all time favorites has to be our Quick & Easy Chimichurri, but lately, my sauce obsession has been this addictively versatile cilantro sauce.

This sour cream based sauce is loaded with fresh cilantro, garlic & jalapeño. It gets brightened up with some lime juice and seasoned with a little salt, pepper, garlic powder, cumin & a hit of olive oil.

A quick pulse in the food processor and you're left with this addictively cool sauce that's speckled with little green bits of cilantro and jalapeño. This dip is just the right amount of spicy, is so simple and seriously tastes great on everything!

We've gone through a few batches of this stuff the last couple weeks. Mostly, we've been dunking hot, fresh tortillas (a current Costco fav!) in it, scooping it up with crunchy chips and drizzling (pouring!) it on tacos.

Aside from the aforementioned deliciousness, this cilantro sauce would be perfect on a beef, chicken or turkey burger, steak or veggie burrito or pulled pork fries. And it would make a great partner to some spicy buffalo wings!

On the flip side, this would also make a pretty amazing salad dressing and the perfect fresh take on a veggie tray dip.

This recipe will make a good amount for a party or to munch on throughout the week, if it lasts that long! Just be sure to keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator and dig in as often as you like!
