Peppermint Pretzels

Need to whip up some last minute Christmas sweets? Look no further than these three-ingredient treats!

It’s Christmas Eve Eve, a.k.a. CRUNCH time! If you’re looking for some fa-la-la-last minute treats, look no further than these festive Peppermint Pretzels. These party size pretzels are dipped in melty peppermint white chocolate and are finished with a crushed candy cane coating. Perfect to set out with the Christmas spread or package up as backup gift bags for unexpected guests!

For these easy Christmas treats, you’ll need crushed candy canes, pretzel sticks and peppermint white chocolate chunks. We loved the size of these Snyder’s Dipping Sticks. These dip sticks are perfectly party sized. They’re bigger than the average pretzel stick but way more manageable than their beefy big brother, Pretzel Rod!

As for the chocolate, these holiday-inspired peppermint chunks from Ghirardelli are a great way to slip in some extra minty flavor. They’re a seasonal item, so if you can’t find them nestled in with all the other festive baking essentials, you can always go for standard white or dark chocolate chunks.

Whether you’re dipping and rolling solo or you have an extra set of hands on deck, you’ll want to set up an assembly line to keep things running smoothly. Crush the candy canes in a food processor and spread them onto a plate. Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl (or coffee mug!), in 30 second intervals, until it’s nice and melty.

Dip a pretzel in chocolate, coating about 2/3 of the stick, swirling off any excess on the side of the dish. Roll the chocolate dipped stick into the crushed candy cane right away, gently coating with the crunchy peppermint goodness. Lay out on a baking sheet and repeat, repeat, repeat! They set pretty quickly in the refrigerator (30 minutes or less!) and can be set out for party snacks or packaged up as edible gifts!
