Easy Oven Roasted Garlic
Garlic is one of those staple ingredients that can be thrown into almost anything to add a unique depth of flavor. These bulbous beauties are great for you and oh-so versatile. One of my favorite garlic transformations has to be the amazingness that happens when you roast a bulb of garlic.
Roasting garlic is a really simple way to mellow the flavor, which in its raw form can be a bit overwhelming to some. The roasting process transforms the garlic into a creamy, smooth clove with a subtle, caramelized texture.
You can leave the cloves whole and serve on a pizza or baked into bread. So good! Or use a fork to mash the cloves into some butter to make a velvety roasted garlic butter or you could infuse with some olive oil and crushed red pepper for a spicy roasted garlic oil that goes perfect with some toasty bread.
